The Rev. Roy A. Hertzog, 92, of Macungie, died Oct. 9, 2022. He was the husband of Diane (Studer) Hertzog. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rev. F. B. and Rena C. (Diefenderfer) Hertzog.
He served in the U.S. Navy for four years; then graduated from Columbia Bible College, now Columbia International University.
He and his wife served with Trans World Radio, pastored Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, then served on the Bible Fellowship Board of Missions, totaling more than 40 years of ministry.
He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church and, after retiring, was involved in various committees at the church.
He served on the board of directors of Bible Basics International for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife; son, Daniel and his wife, Virginia (Smith); daughter, DeAnne and her husband, Fernando Matos; six granddaughters; 12 (soon to be 13) great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest R.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown. A calling hour will be held noon to 1 p.m. before the service in the church.
