The annual Catasauqua/North Catasauqua Halloween parade will be held 7 p.m. Oct. 19.

The rain date is set for Oct. 26.

It will include more than 40 groups and 600 participants including local leaders, youth groups, businesses and the local emergency response units.

The section of the D&L Trail connecting North Catasauqua and Northampton boroughs is now complete!

There is an additional 1.5 miles along the Lehigh River to help promote outdoor recreation.

To access the North Catasauqua trailhead, park behind the public works building, 1460 Main St. Simply walk through the gate and down the paved ramp under the railroad trestle to the trail.

Get out and enjoy the trail before the winter freeze sets in!

The Catasauqua High School music department is planning a gift card bingo for Nov. 19 at CHS, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Doors open 11 a.m., and the games begin 12:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are discounted if bought in advance.
