Millard “Burps” J. Arnold, 89, of Lower Macungie Township, died Oct. 3, 2022. He was the husband of the late Susan M. (Snyder) Arnold, who died June 30, 2016. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Caroline J. (Miller) Arnold.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War, in the 44th Tank Battalion.

He was a bricklayer at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., where he was employed for 44 years, until retirement.

He was a life member of the United Steelworkers Union.

He is survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews including, Robin L. Marsteller. He was predeceased by eight siblings.
