Irene A. Dotterer, 97, of Kempton, died Oct. 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at home.

She was the widow of Carl F. Dotterer, who died in 2021.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Nettie A. (Mitman) Fenstermacher Sr.

She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

A secretary for Carl A. Dotterer Auto Repair Inc. for many years, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Her survivors include sons Dale R. (Mary) Dotterer of Kempton, and Jeffrey L. (Cheri) Dotterer of Hamburg; half-sister Elaine Bogert of Kutztown; grandchildren Scott, Krista and Michael Dotterer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Marguerite Dotterer, Alberta Haas, George Fenstermacher Jr., Gilbert Hess, Glenn Fenstermacher, Elinor Rodenbach and May Stocker.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8 in Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, with a calling hour to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Interment in adjoining cemetery.
