The Whitehall Chapter of AARP will be resuming its monthly meetings 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at the American Club of Coplay pavilion, 300 Cherry St.

The group had not been able to meet since the pandemic. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend the next meeting.

The chapter promotes fellowship and shares helpful tips and information for those individuals older than 50. In the past, guest speakers have included financial advisers and estate planners.

It has also held a flu shot clinic.

The Whitehall Zephyrs varsity football team will play the Freedom High School Patriots at the Bethlehem Area School District Stadium Oct. 7.

Game time is slated for 7 p.m.

Come out and enjoy some gridiron action while cheering on the Zephyrs.

Stiles residents, if you are looking for something fun to do and would like to get into the Halloween spirit, plan on attending Coplay’s annual Halloween parade, which will be held 7 p.m. Oct. 18.
