Steve A. Myers, 70, of Coplay, died of cancer Sept. 25, 2022. He was the husband of Joan Matura.

He was a son of the late George E. and Delores “Dolly” Myers.

He was a bricklayer for 40 years.

He was the minister of music at Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton, 1982-2022. He was an organist at Allentown Seventh Day Adventist Church 2020-22.

He was a colleague in the American Guild of Organists. He played for services and social events at Phoebe Home, Allentown, and at country clubs, casinos, wineries and other area venues. He wrote and recorded music for Studio 51, Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Oz Show, Pacifica Music, Hallmark and other media.

He was on the authorization committee at the Penn Northeast Conference.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepsons, Donavin Judy, Jasen Judy and Tommy Diehl; three grandchildren, Amber Diehl, Jacob Judy and Cooper Diehl; a brother, George W. Myers and wife Nancy; four cousins, Joan Dankel, Nancy Godusky, Lee Hinkle and Anne Rohrbach; friends; and loved ones.
