Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 9

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street, at West 21st and Center streets, in the 300 block of East 10th Street, the 100 block of West 21st Street, at East 10th Street and Washington Avenue, in the 600 block of East Fourth Street, the 1800 block of Laubach Avenue, at Smith Lane and Lerchenmiller Drive and in the 2000 block of Main Street.

A child custody issue in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was investigated.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1600 block of Laubach Avenue and on males in the 200 block of West 26th Street and the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of East Fourth Street was reported.

Police assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A domestic dispute occurred in the 1500 block of Main Street.

Police responded to a suspected DUI in the 2500 block of Cherryville Road.

SEPT. 10

A disturbance in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

Officers investigated a civil matter in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 900 and 1600 blocks of Main Street, at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road and in the 600 block of East 21st Street.

In the 1400 block of Railroad Street, a domestic dispute took place.

Police assisted a female in the 300 block of East 11th Street.

SEPT. 11

Domestic disputes occurred in the 1300 block of Stewart Street and the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

A dog barking in the 1300 block of Barrington Drive was reported.

Officers investigated a protection-from-abuse violation in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

A suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Oakland Drive was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 2200 block of Main Street and the 500 block of East 10th Street.

In the 1600 block of Newport Avenue, a report of a civil issue was addressed.

SEPT. 12

A domestic dispute occurred in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 200 block of West 26th Street.

A civil matter in the 900 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Police assisted females in the 1300 block of Main Street and the 600 block of Held Drive and a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 1300 block of Vienna Street, a report of a neighbor issue was investigated.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 400 block of East Fourth Street, at West 18th and Main streets, at Horwith and Clear Springs drives, at Cherryville Road and West 26th Street, at East 21st Street and Washington Avenue and at Canal and Stewart streets.

A loud music complaint in the unit block of East 13th Street was addressed.

SEPT. 13

A suspicious male in the 1700 block of Line Alley was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1500 block of Main Street, the 100 block of Held Drive, the unit block of West 21st Street and at East Fourth and Main streets.

Civil matters were investigated in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue and the 700 block of East 18th Street.

Neighbor complaints were addressed in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue and the unit block of East 13th Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 600 block or East 20th Street.

At Main Street and Salmon Alley, a child custody issue had police at the scene.

SEPT. 14

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue, at East 16th and Main streets, at Horwith and Clear Springs drives, at Hokendauqua Avenue and East 21st Street, at West 25th Street and Cherryville Road and in the 600 block of East Fourth Street.

Officers assisted males in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue and the 500 block of Greenview Drive and females in the 200 block of East 18th Street and the 1300 block of Atlas Lane.

A civil matter in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

SEPT. 15

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1400, 2100 and 2200 blocks of Main Street, at East 18th Street and Laubach Avenue, at East 21st and Main streets, in the unit block of West 21st and at West Ninth and Main streets.

A suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue was reported.

Suspected DUI cases at East Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue and at Canal and West 21st streets were investigated.

A report of harassment that occurred in the 1600 block of Poplar Street was filed with the department.

Loud music in the unit block of East 13th Street was reported.
