Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., invites everyone to a homemade halupki dinner 4-6 p.m. Oct. 8 in the fellowship hall.
Dinners include two halupkies, a roll, mashed potatoes, a cupcake and a beverage. The event is for dine-in or takeout.
Pay cash at the door. There are no preorders.

Catholic War Veterans Post 454 will be hosting a murder mystery event 6 p.m. Oct. 8 at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Ave. The cost of a ticket includes dinner, beer, soda, water and the show.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Oct. 12 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.
Doors open 11 a.m.
Maria Santacoloma will speak to the group about health coverage that can be changed at this time.
Those planning to attend are asked to bring a cake or cookies to share.
Visitors and new members are welcome.
Trip information will be on display at the meeting.

The Jack Frost Parade is 7 p.m. Oct. 20.
The parade starts at Laubach Avenue and Smith Lane. It will travel down Laubach Avenue to 19th Street, then Main Street to Lerchenmiller Drive.

Trick-or-treat night in the borough is Oct. 31. Those planning to hand out treats to costumed kids are asked to turn on porch lights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 93 will hold a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. Nov. 5 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 19th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The meal includes salad, drinks and ice cream.
There is a cost. Children age 6 and under eat for free. Proceeds benefit the troop.
