Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is sponsoring a basket raffle 4-7 p.m. Oct. 7 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 8. Winning tickets will be drawn Oct. 8, and winners will be notified by phone.

Items include attractive themed baskets, gift certificates, a flower/plant corner and other unique gifts.

All proceeds will benefit Allentown Rescue Mission.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be closed Oct. 10-12 for cleaning and changeover. The shop will reopen Oct. 13 with all new clothing for fall and winter.

Regular hours at the shop are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be hosting a Medicare presentation 10:30 a.m. Oct. 13.

The presentation will be provided by PA MEDI program of Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services. Come with questions about plans, open enrollment, coordination of benefits and more. All are welcome.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church is holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser Oct. 15.

There are 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. seatings with limited takeout available.

The menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, rolls/butter, beverage and dessert bar. This event is by donation and will benefit Tunnel to Towers.
