Carol M. Morgan, 81, of Catasauqua, died Sept. 27, 2022. She was the wife of the late John W. Morgan Sr.
Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late John Kurtzman, Florence Prelle and stepfather Charles Prelle.
She earned a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University. She was a certified senior professional in human resources.
She was human resources manager for Kraemer Textiles and HR professional/manufacturing supervisor for Boise Cascade Envelopes. She was a member of the Global Operations Board and vice president of labor relations and human resources for Silberline Manufacturing Company for 22 years. After retiring, she established and was president of HR Results LLC consulting firm.
She was a secretary for Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.
She was an adjunct lecturer for Wescoe School/Muhlenberg College, DeSales University, Moravian University and Lehigh Carbon Community College. She was a member and past president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. She was a former U.S. Ambassador for the People-to-People Program.
She is survived by a son, John W. Jr. and his wife Judy; a grandson, Caleb Spess and his wife Katie; a granddaughter, Amanda Snyder and her husband Craig; two stepgrandsons, Cyril Jolly and his wife Dakota and Adrian Murphy and his wife Shayna; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah A. Spess; a son-in-law, Tom; and siblings.
