Maintenance training program begins Oct. 3

Northampton Community College will hold a 10-week, accelerated Industrial Maintenance Training Program, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, October 3 through December 8, at the Fowler Family Southside Centerm. The free for qualified candidates program is funded by the state Department of Community and Economic Development.

The course covers foundational skills of industrial maintenance including blueprint/schematics reading, electrical and mechanical concepts, trouble-shooting and more. Participants may earn OSHA-10 certification.
