A 60-year-old Upper Macungie Township woman died 20 days after falling off a bicycle 4:52 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 Block of Robert Drive, Upper Macungie Township.
According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Dr. Lorraine A. Dickey was pronounced dead 1:08 a.m. Aug. 28 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He said the cause of her death is complications of a cervical spine injury due to the bicycle accident.
The manner of death was ruled accidental, Buglio said.
According to Upper Macungie Township police, officers were dispatched to the Robert Drive location to assist EMS.
Upon arrival, police discovered the patient had already been transported by Cetronia Ambulance.
