Multiple Lehigh County law enforcement agencies conducted a joint commercial motor vehicle enforcement effort Sept. 20 with a goal of reducing commercial motor vehicle crashes in Lehigh County.
The program, Coordinating Resources to Advance Safer Highways or C.R.A.S.H., is an effort deigned to bring state and municipal agencies together to jointly conduct commercial motor vehicle inspections and traffic enforcement in and around the I-78 corridor, according to a news release.
Agencies participating in the detail included Pennsylvania State Police, Catasauqua, South Whitehall Township, Emmaus Borough, Salisbury and Upper Macungie Township police departments, and City of Allentown Police Department and the Pennsylvania Utility Commission.
