Chester W. “Chet” Kinsey Jr., 85, of Breinigsville, died Sept. 19, 2022, at home.

He and his wife, Carol A. (Westerman) Kinsey, shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Chester Sr. and Gertrude (Bailey) Kinsey.

Before retiring, he worked more than 30 years as an electrician for IBEW Local 98.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

For nine years, he served with the Army National Guard.

He and his wife enjoyed square dancing and camping throughout the U.S. and spending time with their many, many friends.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved pet Sparky.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son James; stepson Terry Harris and his wife, Jackie; daughters Patricia Appleman and Donna Spause; stepdaughter Lisa Harris; daughter-in-law Patricia Silva; brothers Horace and Wayne; sister Linda Arcara; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a stepson Brett Harris and brothers Robert and Howard “Butch.”

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Lehigh County Humane Society c/o the funeral home.
