Each year, second- and third-grade students take a trip to the Whitehall High School gym, where they learn about the STARS (Safe, Team player, Achiever, Respectful and Self discipline) positive behavior model - and have fun along the way.

Steckel Principal Cora Snyder takes to the microphone to emcee the Steckel STARS pep rally and explain the rewards program to students. Students can earn reward tickets for demonstrating good behavior, which are eligible to “purchase” prizes in the school's student store.
