Janice E. Jacob, 76, of Macungie, died Sept. 13, 2022, at home. She was the wife of Barry L. Bloch for 41 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Pauline (Backenstoe) Werley.

She worked for Rodale Press for 27 years as a computer operator and at HT Lyons for four years.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband; children, Adrienne (James Berryman), of Mertztown, Larry (Daphene), of New Jersey; stepchildren, Jeremy Bloch, of North Carolina, Jason Bloch, of Macungie; sister, Donna Foulke; grandchildren, Nicole, Alex, Dylan, Stephan, Mayah and Tanner; great-grandchild, Riley; sister-in-law, Barbara Heinly; brothers-in-law, Richard Bernecker (Gail) and Wayne Bernecker (Shirley).
