Northampton Borough Elementary School will be holding its first Boro-Thon, a walk/run event to raise money for the school, Sept. 30. The rain date is Oct. 7.

Students will raise money by getting pledges and walking/running laps around the track at Northampton Area High School. Pledges will be collected online at bit.ly/borothon.

Parents/guardians are welcome to sit in the stands to cheer on the students. Please have your child wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. Students may also bring water bottles.

All funds raised will help with costs of field trips.

NAHS’ homecoming spirit week will begin Oct. 3 and continues through Oct. 7.

Join in the spirit activities taking place during the week. Follow your daily announcements for the upcoming planned fun!

The homecoming dance will be held at NAHS 7-10 p.m. Oct. 8.

At 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3, there will be a Lehigh Elementary School PTA meeting in the school’s cafeteria.

Northampton Borough Elementary PTA group will hold its meeting 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Siegfried building.

There is no school for students Oct. 10. Teachers will have an in-service day.

Moore Elementary School will hold its trunk or treat 6-8 p.m. Oct. 14 at the school.

Registration is open for Northampton Area School District’s Community Education program. The following classes will be offered for the fall: country line dancing, lap swim and water aerobics. Yoga has only one more class left.
