Just after midnight on July 20, North Whitehall Township volunteer fire departments from Schnecksville, Tri-Clover and Neffs were dispatched for a report of a large structure filled with fireworks on fire at 4040 Buck Run, Schnecksville.
The first fire units on scene reported a working fire and called for a second alarm and a tanker task to provide water as the neighborhood does not have fire hydrants.
The building was destroyed, and the adjacent home sustained damage to its aluminum siding.
None of the residents were injured by the fire.
The building was adjacent to the home of Stephanie and Robert Harriman, owners of Bobby Boom Boom Fireworks and Lehigh Valley Rent A Tent.
Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Trooper Joseph Phillips was joined by North Whitehall Township Fire Marshal Jim Steward and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to investigate the cause of the fire.
