Janice E. Jacob, 76, of Macungie, died Sept. 13, 2022, at home.

She and her husband, Barry L. Bloch, were together 41 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Pauline (Backenstoe) Werley.

She was a computer operator for Rodale Press for 27 years and at HT Lyons for four years.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

She loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Adrienne Jacob (James Berryman) of Mertztown, and Larry Jacob (Daphene) of New Jersey; stepchildren Jeremy Bloch of North Carolina, and Jason Bloch of Macungie; sister Donna Foulke; grandchildren Nicole, Alex, Dylan, Stephan, Mayah and Tanner; great-grandchild Riley; sister-in-law Barbara Heinly; brothers-in-law Richard Bernecker (Gail) and Wayne Bernecker (Shirley).
