Joseph Macus of Allentown was among 48 students inducted April 29 into Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honor society, at University of Scranton, Scranton.

Macus is a graduate student pursing a Master of Business Administration in human resources degree at the Jesuit university.

To be considered for induction, students must rank in the upper seven percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class or upper 20 percent of the graduating master’s class.

The University’s chapter of the honor society was established in 1997.
