As of Feb. 14, the following students from Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, completed academic internships.
Allentown: Nicole Singer completed an internship with Allentown Area School District, Alizay Speight completed an internship with The Women’s Center, Inc..
Breinigsville: Lindsey Garnel completed an internship with Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community.
Fogelsville: Ryan Wieand completed an internship with Victory Sports & Fitness, Tyler Wiik completed an internship with Lehigh County Adult Probation and Parole.
Kempton: Deanna Dieterly completed an internship with Alicia Weaver Design.
New Tripoli: Robert Seyfried completed an internship with Transform Rehabilitation, Alexis Sohaney completed an internship with Hepatitis B Foundation, and John Stauffenberg completed an internship with Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization, LLC (PBACO).
Orefield: Daniel Pruzinsky completed an internship with CrossAmerica Partners, LP.
Schnecksville: Anna Horn completed an internship with ULINE.
A for-credit, academic internship must meet certain requirements set by academic departments and includes a formal agreement between the university and the internship site.
Students work with a site supervisor and faculty advisor throughout the internship, gaining hands-on learning and practical experience for their future career.
Bloomsburg University has established relationships with more than 2,000 companies across the United States, such as JP Morgan Chase & Co., Comcast, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, The Department of Homeland Security, FBI, Verizon, and the Walt Disney Company.
