The following college representatives will be available to meet with interested Catasauqua High School junior and senior students in the school’s cafeteria during the Rough Rider block: Lehigh Carbon Community College, Sept. 26; Moravian University, Sept. 28; and Lafayette College, Sept. 29.

Any student interested in speaking to any of these college representatives should report directly to the cafeteria, where attendance will be taken.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute has announced career and technology scholarships are available through Commonwealth Charitable Management. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must reside in Pennsylvania and in a household with an adjusted gross income of up to $96,600, plus $17,000 for each dependent listed on the family federal 1040 tax return.

It’s very easy to apply. Complete the short online application at apply.eitcnow.org. A separate application must be submitted for every student. Then upload a copy of the most recent 1040 federal tax return of the person who claimed the student on his or her return. The form must list the student as a dependent and the adjusted gross income. Applications will not be processed without this information.
