Lucille J. Zborel, 87, of Allentown, died Sept. 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Zborel for more than 60 years.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Dean and Verna (Bailey) Heil.

She was a 1953 Whitehall High School graduate, a 1955 graduate of the Bryan School of Nursing and completed several courses at Allentown Business School and Lehigh County Community College.

She worked for 18 years at Lehigh Safety Shoe and 19 years at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a son, William J. Zborel; a daughter, Tammy L. and husband Eric Trimbur; four nieces, Elaine Kidd, Lynette Kidd, Sharon Faust and Fay Kleppinger; three nephews, Virgil Kidd, Sterling Kidd and Tim Heil; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Alton Heil; and a sister, Marion Kidd.

There will be a calling hour 10 a.m., followed by services 11 a.m., Sept. 23 at the funeral home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown, 18102.
