Can you believe it is almost time for homecoming?
The Salisbury homecoming parade begins 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Salisbury Elementary School and ends at Salisbury High School.
If you have a business or organization that would like to walk or ride a float in the parade, contact James Hahn at jhahn@salisburysd.org.
The school is looking for anyone with a convertible to drive the homecoming court through the parade.
If you will not be in the parade, I encourage you to line the streets and cheer on those who are. Some floats even throw candy.
After the parade make your way to the high school and cheer on our Falcon football team as they battle Pine Grove 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Salisbury High School will hold open house 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22. If you are interested in dual enrollment for your student, the information meeting for that will begin 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Salisbury Middle School will hold open house 7:45 p.m. Sept. 29.
SHS will also host a financial aid meeting for the parents of juniors and seniors interested in college 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3. This meeting is run by the guidance office and has guests from local colleges to talk and answer questions about the financial aid process.
SES’s next T-shirt day will be Sept. 23.
