Join the Bertsch-Hokendauqua-Catasauqua Watershed Association for a community day full of events at Wayne Grube Memorial Park, 308 East Bullshead Road, Allen Township.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 25, enjoy reptiles, bog plants and a guided tour of the park. Food and kids’ crafts will be available all day.
The event will also include displays from other local organizations.

East Allen Township EMS will hold a dedication ceremony for its new ambulance 6-7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the station, 4945 Nor-Bath Blvd.
Since 1979, East Allen Township EMS has been providing emergency medical services to East Allen Township and the surrounding community.
“We are excited to welcome our newest ambulance, 4683, to better help us serve the residents and businesses in East Allen Township and our neighboring communities,” said Michele Morrow, lifetime member of East Allen Township EMS.
The ceremony will feature the ambulance driving through the blue ribbon, signaling the beginning of its service to East Allen Township and the surrounding community.
The public is invited. There is no cost to attend.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Seemsville, will be holding a chicken barbecue drive-thru dinner event either 4:30-5 p.m. or 5:15-5:45 p.m. Oct. 1 at the church, 8142 Valley View Road.
The meal, made by Lorah’s Pig Roasters & Farm Market, includes half of a barbecue chicken, baked potato, coleslaw and dessert.
The deadline to order dinners is Sept. 25.
