Fay L. Helfrich, 89, formerly of Emmaus, died Sept. 16, 2022, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Marvin Helfrich. Born in Upper Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Edna (Reichelderfer) Kline.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus and was employed as a trimmer at the former Emmaus Shirt Factory for several years.

She was a member of Emmaus Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Ruhf and her husband, Brian; a son, Michael Schantzenbach and his wife, Denise; a son-in-law, Kerry Knauss; grandchildren, Derek Knauss, Rocky Schantzenbach and Adrian Moser; great-grandchildren, Riley, Cole and Cash; nieces and nephews; brothers, Dennis and Donald Sicher. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Knauss and a brother, Terry Kline.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus, 18049.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 Sept. 21 in the funeral home.
