Lauren Brannan of Orefield was one of 1,236 students from the graduating Class of 2022 who were confirmed a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University Medical School at Commencement Ceremonies June 5 at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Flushing, N.Y.
She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society based on humanistic criteria, including dependability, exemplary patient care, devotion to the community, and the underprivileged, trustworthiness, listening skills, and behavior representative of the ideal St. George’s University medical student.
Brannan was also inducted into the IOTA Epsilon Alpha Medical Honor Society.
The St. George’s University School of Medicine provides a diverse multicultural and international environment that empowers students to learn the medical knowledge, clinical skills and professional behaviors to participate in healthcare delivery to people across the world.
Dr. Brannan will be doing an emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N.J.
She is the daughter of Drs. Richard and Kim Brannan.
