No one is ready for summer to end but make it more fun by joining the Emmaus Main Street Partners for Farewell to Summer Fest! Held at the Emmaus Triangle 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17, attendees can enjoy live music from Alias for the duration of the event, food from Ridge Runner BBQ and Bananarama as well as local brick-and-mortar businesses like David’s Italian Market and Armetta’s Restaurant. There will be adult beverages from Yergey Brewing, Funk Brewing and Triple Sun Spirits on site as well.

Enjoy walking around the Emmaus Triangle to the local, downtown businesses like Handmade Mystic, Lazy Dog Consignment, and Emmaus Jewel Shop. There will also be light shopping with craft vendors including Habby Fruit Hot Sauces, Crystal Wings, Purrrfect Hand Soaps, C Glass Rocks, Love Ran Red Foundation/Duke’s Delites, R&R Bowls, Braids by Heather and more. Some nonprofit organizations like Emmaus Rotary Club, Juxtahub and Emmaus Arts Commission will also be set up sharing information about their organizations with some fun kids activities too.

Looking for something to do with the kids? Active Learning Centers/Lehigh Valley Martial Arts serves as the children’s activities for the day and will be hosting a few fun crafts and sponsored face painting. There will also be balloon animals and the famous Scarecrow Trail which is a passport for kids to stop by the 20 participating local businesses in Emmaus during the event and have fun treats and activities. Community members can download the passport on the Emmaus Main Street Partners Facebook page or pick it up at the participating businesses. The businesses on the trail are: ZZKids by ZimZum Consulting, Mantra Massage, Edward Jones on the Triangle - Jeff McElhaney, Yergey Brewing, Emmaus Historical Society, Nowhere Coffee Co/ South Mountain Cycle, Deca Salon, Emmaus Run Inn, Buss Paint, Emmaus Drug Store, Let’s Play Books, Fuel, Apport Used Books, Better Homes & Gardens Valley Partners, Grandpa Joe’s, Ai Orthodontics, Switchback Pizza and Green Earth Marketplace.
