Sheckler Elementary School will host a document shredding and electronic recycling event 9-11 a.m., or until the truck is full, Sept. 17.
The event is free and open to any resident of Catasauqua Area School District.
Bring old computers, stereos, radios, video and DVD players and cables to be recycled for free; however, there is a fee for recycling television sets and monitors.
Paper and document shredding is also available.

Van and bus drivers are needed for CASD. The starting pay is $21.88 per hour.
Candidates must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. Clearances are also required for this position.
Possible CDL training is available for bus drivers if candidates are interested.

Daily substitute teacher positions for the 2022-23 academic year at Sheckler are available. The daily substitute teacher reports directly to the building principal. He/she will provide daily instruction in the absence of a regular teacher, implement lesson plans and perform other related duties as assigned by the building administrator.
The daily workday will consist of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.
