Pearl A. Schaffer, 80, of Whitehall, died Aug. 29, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frances (Moyer) Grube.
She was the wife of the late Luther Schaffer.
She was a high school graduate.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a member of the Hokendauqua Legion, Jones-Quigg Post #739, Whitehall; the American Legion Post 353, Northampton; the former Laurel Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Whitehall; and was a life member of the Alliance Fire Company, Northampton.
She is survived by a daughter, April L. Marx and companion Terrance Cain of Whitehall; two brothers, Kenneth Grube and wife Kathy of Northampton and Thomas Grube and wife Candida of Bethlehem; a sister, Shirley Lacey of Northampton; grandchildren, Paul Rapchak and Ketura of Palmerton, Shane Rapchak and wife Tiana of Northampton and Sarah Schaffer and Faith Schaffer of Coplay and a great-granddaughter, Amelia Rapchak of Palmerton.
She was predeceased by a son, Douglas S. Schaffer; and a brother, Harry Grube.
