A 51-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from New Jersey at a traffic stop in the area of U.S. Route 222 North and Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:20 a.m. Aug. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft of motor vehicle
An unknown person entered a red 2019 Acura ILX while it was running and removed the vehicle from a location in the 3000 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:01 p.m. June 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was later recovered.
A 2022 Airstream Base Camp 20 travel trailer, displaying Montana registration 793060C, was removed from a location in the 4500 block of Colebrook Avenue, Upper Milford Township, 2:14 a.m. June 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A black 2007 Nissan Sentra was removed from a residence along Dillingersville Road, Upper Milford Township, between July 5 and July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was recovered 5 a.m. July 6 in Philadelphia after it was reportedly involved in a two-vehicle crash.
An orange and silver electric narrow scissor lift, valued at $45,000, was removed from a location in the 8600 block of Congdon Hill Drive, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between April 26 and April 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The lift displayed the company name Skyworks Equipment Rental at the time of the theft.
A trailer was removed from a location on Steinsburg Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A resident reported the theft 9:24 p.m. June 28.
A 2007 red and white dirt bike was removed from a location on Dillingersville Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A resident reported the theft 3:14 p.m. June 17.
Theft from vehicle
A registration tag was removed from a tow vehicle at a location in the 4500 block of North Kings Highway, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 31.
Theft
Someone entered a fenced-in construction site in the 7700 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, and removed $14,000 in tools and equipment between 7 p.m. June 28 and 6:20 a.m. June 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Two locks were cut and two trailers were entered in the incident. An item valued at $2,000 was discarded near the scene. Businesses impacted by the theft include U-Haul International, Poole Anderson Construction and JC Sons, Allentown.
A camera was removed from the 8400 block of Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 15.

A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 4:38 p.m. May 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on U.S. Route 222 South/North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:10 a.m. May 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Kart Drive and South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:21 a.m. May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal mischief
An unknown person or group cut padlocks on three storage trailers at the rear of a building at Wlazelek Auction Gallery Inc., 2571 Pennsylvania Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, between 7:30 p.m. June 28 and 12:50 a.m. June 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The alleged thieves left the area without taking anything. The locks were valued at $45.
Someone threw milkshakes and barbecue chicken at a vehicle and at a window of a residence at a location on Cherry Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between May 1 and May 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone allegedly smashed a vehicle windshield with a hammer at a location in the 2000 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, 4:30 p.m. May 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The windshield was valued at $400.
Identity theft
A resident of Barnside Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned personal information was fraudulently used to open a Bank of America bank account after receiving a letter in the mail about the account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 1.
A resident of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned a Wells Fargo Bank account was opened in his name without his authorization, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 15 and the account has been closed.
A resident of Springridge Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, learned a fraudulent loan was opened in his name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 6.
A resident of Stansfield Drive, Upper Milford Township, learned an unknown person gained access to the resident’s wholesale club account and attempted to buy $158.70 worth of Nutella hazelnut cocoa spread July 7 and 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned her personal information was used to open a Bank of America account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 9.
Retail theft
Three women allegedly removed sensor tags from various clothing items, placed the items in totes and left Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, 7:04 p.m. Aug. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 25-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for retail theft after he allegedly removed DVDs with a total value of $274.08 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:52 a.m. June 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scam
A resident of Brookdale Road, Lower Macungie Township, was persuaded to invest in a fraudulent retirement scam between Feb. 1 and July 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Two residents of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, sent $40,000 to an unknown person under the false impression they were returning money sent to them as a refund, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 13.
A resident of Weilers Road, Lower Macungie Township, thwarted an attempt by a person posing as a computer company employee to steal money in a scam, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The impersonator pretended to be a Microsoft employee settling an unpaid online gambling debt. The resident reported the incident to authorities and his bank. The incident was reported June 23.
Accidents
A Macungie motorist was only slightly hurt when her vehicle hit a boulder, traffic sign and a ditch in a one-vehicle crash on Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was eastbound 11:23 a.m. June 24 when the driver lost control and went off the right shoulder. Macungie EMS and Yocum Towing and Recovery also responded. The driver suffered a minor injury to her arm, according to state police.
A Harleysville motorist drove onto a concrete median and struck two Pennsylvania Department of Transportation signs in a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:32 a.m. June 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was eastbound when the driver drove up and onto the center median.
