Mary “Marie” C. Sisko, 85, died Aug. 30, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Fred Sisko.

She was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Farkas) Najpauer.

She was a Northampton High School graduate.

She worked at Egypt Pants Factory and in the cafeteria at Steckel Elementary School in the Whitehall-Coplay School District.

She volunteered as a teacher’s aide at Steckel Elementary School for many years.

She was a lifelong member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

She is survived by four daughters, Susan and partner Dwain Sheckler of Center Valley, Constance of Whitehall, Marie and husband Barry Brunst Jr. of Walnutport and Kathryn and husband Michael Solderitch of Whitehall; six grandchildren Julia, Kay, Luke, Holly, Lindsay and Mason; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Lucille with Paul Mikulcik of Whitehall; and five brothers, John with Joan Najpauer of Northampton, Edward, William with Dorothy Najpauer of Whitehall, Michael and Robert.
