Hope Lutheran Church’s Sunday school rally day is planned for 9:15-10:15 a.m. Sept. 11 in the parking lot by the pavilion, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Parents/guardians must accompany children.

Hope Lutheran Church will be holding its 27th annual fall basket social Oct. 7 in Kuntz Hall. Doors open 4 p.m., and the drawing will be held 7:30 p.m.

In addition to the basket raffle, there will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes and a surprise cash prize hidden in three baskets.

Food, including barbecue, haluski, soups, filling/gravy and baked goods, will be available for purchase.

Donations of themed baskets, gift cards with receipts, wrapped baked goods and cases of water and soda can be dropped off 6-8 p.m. Oct. 6 or 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 7.

Proceeds will benefit the Hope Lutheran general fund.

The Lehigh Township Historical Society will be holding its annual fall mum and bake sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Lehigh Township Historical Centre. The deadline to order mums was Sept. 1.
