Jeffrey T. Teets, 65, of Coplay, died Aug. 25, 2022, in his home. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Fritzinger) Kneas.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Hope Gruver of Whitehall and the late Robert H. Teets.

He was a 1975 graduate of Whitehall High School and then of Lehigh Career and Technical Institute.

He owned and operated Salvage Transport Services, Coplay, for 45 years.

In 1999, he was a championship race car driver at Grandview Speedway, Bechtelsville.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Sarah R. Teets and Jeff A. Teets, both of Whitehall; two stepchildren, Shawna M. Gildner and her husband Andrew R. of Slatington and Justin L. Kneas and his fiancee Rebecca L. Glitzer of Lehighton; two siblings, Lois Hower and her husband Dennis and Randy Teets and his wife Cindy, all of Whitehall; and an aunt, Audrey Gruver of Whitehall.
