St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be honoring the 100th birthday of Emma Repp-Kuczek Sept. 18.

A reception will be held 9:30 a.m. in Fox Hall. She will be honored at the 10:45 a.m. service, and there will be presentations and commendations immediately following the service.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will hold an iPhone, iPad and Android class 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20, conducted by Susan Bielucke, director of Whitehall Township Public Library.

St. John’s UCC is planning a craft/vendor show and bake sale for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 24 at the new pavilion on Sixth Street. There will be food available for purchase.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will have its annual basket social 5-7 p.m. Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 8 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 9 in the parish hall. There will be spectacular baskets to raffle and delicious food at a reasonable cost.
