Whitehall roundup: Field hockey gets win
Northestern boys soccer knocked off Whitehall 3-1.
Mauro, DeLillo and Zellner all scored goals for the Tigers. Mauro knocked in a rebound off the keeper and DeLillo scored on a direct kick. Zellner’s goal was a header over the keeper. Zellner had a goal and an assist.
Whitehall’s goal came from Giovanni Mazzola who scored on a penalty kick.

The tennis team dropped some recent matches.
Whitehall lost 7-0 to Emmaus. Alexis Bundra won two sets over Shelby Carter at one singles, falling 6-2, 6-0. The doubles teams of Izabellah Morales and Jessica Lin took at set at 1 doubles as did Camila Aroque and Alexsandra Niski at 3 and Kennosh Browne and Jessica Lin at four doubles.
The team also fell to Pocono Mountain West, 5-0.
Bundra lost at one singles 6-0, 6-2. Brenna Pangaio took a point at two singles losing 6-0, 6-1 while Afaf Nazif lost 6-1, 6-1 at three singles.
Giovanna Yacoub and Olivia Toto fell at two doubles 6-0, 6-1 and Camila Araque and Aleksandra Niski lost 6-0, 6-0 at three doubles.

The golf team dropped a recent match at Stroudsburg and also fell to Parkland, but picked up a win over Pocono Mountain West.
Matt Rader led the way with an 87. Matt Nomi had a 112, Mason Nomie had a 114. Bryce Schache had a 104 and Parker Ziegenfuss had a 118.
The Mounties were led by Hunter Probst and Will Eberz who carded 76. Parkland was led by AJ Sundstom who had an 82. The Mounties got an 82 from Andrew Brinker and 85s from Chase Beck and Nate Zauck.

Whitehall field hockey knocked off Freedom 5-0.
Emma Bonshak had a huge game scoring three goals and adding an assist in the victory.
Matisyn Derkacs scored two goals in the win.
Bonshak scored the first, third and fifth goals. She assisted on Derkacs second goal which made the score 4-0.
