K-Kids Roundup: Tennis and golf get wins
The Northampton girls tennis team beat Eastburg North 6-1.
At one singles, Rachel Zeitner defeated Solomia Bezpalko 6-0, 6-0
At two, Isabelle Sawarynski blanked Sophia Bezpolka 6-0, 6-0 and at three Ava Aulisio knocked off Alyssa Dina 6-1, 6-0.
Number two doubles saw Toni Bubier and Kaci Howe defeat Saniyah Wagstaff and Alicia Bell 6-1, 6-1 while at three doubles Leah Jenkins and Ava Grell won by forfeit as did Joy Samaan and Addy Brabec at four doubles.
At two doubles, Gianna Lorenz and May Cruz fell 8-6.
The girls fell to Pleasant Valley 5-2.
Zeitner and won at one singles 6-2, 6-2 while Sawarynski also won at two, 6-0, 1-6, 12-10.

The golf team picked up three wins against Stroudsburg, Becahi and Eastburg North in a recent match.
The Kids edged the Mounties 404-419. The Hawks shot 528 and Eastburg had a 677.
Trent Moyer led the way for the Kids with a 78.
For the Mounties, Hunter Probst and Will Eberz both shot 79
Becahi was led by George Pavis’ 94 and Cody Smith had a 109 for North.
The Kids beat Easton and Eastburg South while falling to defending champ Liberty in another recent match.
The Hurricanes shot 378 to the Kids 403 at Woodstone.
NHS was led by a personal best performance from Gavin Pychinka who shot a 69.
Liberty was led by Matthew Vital’s 66. Matthew Ronca had a 73, Michael Vital a 77 and Jimmy Barker an 83.
Other NHS scores were: Kohler Strohl 81, Michael Seidick 83, Justin Edwards 84 and Jayden Bleiler 86
Easton was led by Matthew Zingales’ 100. South saw Luke Randall shoot a 99.
The Kids opened the season with a win over Whitehall.
Pychinka shot 75 to lead the way. Moyer shot a 76.
Matt Rader paced WHS with an 85.
Jayden Bleiler shot 83, Michael Seidick 87 and Madison Salter 88 for the Kids who won 409-566.

Boys soccer was a 3-1 winner over Allen.
Delano Tsome scored two goals for the Kids in the win. Brody Eisenhart scored the other Kids goal.
Sebastian Mello and Jackson Vajda both had assists for the Kids.
Allen’s goal came from Delfe Shukuru and was assisted by Diego Severo.
Xander McDonald picked up the win in net for NHS.
