Retail theft

Cheryl Ina Coller, 69 and Rod Hilton Coller, 71, both of Zionsville, were charged with felony retail theft after they allegedly removed food and beauty items with a total value of $5,207.65 from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, in 37 separate visits dating back to December 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 55-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly removing 10 items, including deli and produce items, with a total value of $82.93 from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, July 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. DUI

Pennsylvania State Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint 11 p.m. June 17 to 3 a.m. June 18 along Buckeye Road near Tank Farm Road in Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The checkpoint resulted in five arrests for driving under the influence, two misdemeanor drug arrests and multiple warnings and citations issued. The checkpoint stopped 165 motorists, according to authorities.

A 43-year-old male, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving under the influence at a traffic stop at Main Street and Keystone Avenue, Emmaus borough, 10:57 p.m. May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 59-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at Hamilton Boulevard and Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:17 a.m. June 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 23-year-old female, of Commerce, Ga., was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at Indian Creek Road and Overlook Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:10 a.m. May 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 68-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after troopers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:50 p.m. May 13 to check on the welfare of a person sitting beside her vehicle and appearing to need medical assistance, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 30-year-old female, of Bethlehem, allegedly was driving under the influence of a controlled substance when state police were called to Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, April 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The female allegedly was attempting to leave the store parking lot at the time and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle and on the woman, according to state police.

A 48-year-old female, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash on North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:36 p.m. June 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

A resident of Bell Gate Road, Lower Milford Township, discovered damage to the hood of a parked vehicle by a large object sometime between 5 p.m. March 16 and 5:44 p.m. March 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 17 and damage was estimated at $800.

Theft

Tools with an estimated value of $800 to $900 were removed from a location along Eveningstar Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Investigators found locks were removed from two trailers and contractor tools were taken. The specific dates and times of the thefts are not known; however, the incidents may have happened between May 26 and June 2, according to authorities.

A package was removed from a front porch at a residence on North Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The theft was reported 3:36 p.m. Feb. 15.

A package was removed from a porch at a residence on North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 19.

Used cooking oil was removed from various food establishments in Lower Macungie Township and a location in the 3000 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, between Sept. 17, 2021 and Feb. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The thefts were reported by Buffalo Biodiesel Inc., of New York.

A wallet was stolen in the area of North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11:10 and 11:52 a.m. March 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Attempts were made to use a credit card from the wallet at multiple stores.

A resident of Hanover Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered someone removed airline miles valued at $3,053.26 from his airline account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 19.
