Just a few reminders for the beginning of school.

Catasauqua High School opens 7:20 a.m. for all students.

Breakfast is served between the hours of 7:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m.

Upon the dismissal 2:35 p.m., students should immediately exit the building through the main doors at their designated dismissal time, unless involved in after-school activities or functions. The buses leave promptly six minutes after the bell rings at the end of the day.

Students staying after school Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays who require transportation from the late bus must sign up in the high school main office before attending his or her after-school activity.

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute students and parents/guardians are invited to check out LCTI’s new online uniform store at lcti.estore.shop. Here you will find the necessary uniform requirements listed by lab area using the left-hand menu on this site.

Every student has $25 allotted toward his or her uniform purchase. This $25 credit can be used by entering the student’s dedicated LCTI ID number during the checkout process. This number can be found on the student’s schedule that was mailed earlier.

Every student is required to have a uniform as indicated in the LCTI student handbook.

Scholarships are also available for families who need assistance paying for uniforms or tools. Scholarships cover everything from cosmetology kits and T-shirts to welding jackets and work boots. The application deadline is Sept. 30. Apply at lcti.org.

As a reminder, all new and returning LCTI students, as well as their parents/guardians, are encouraged to review the LCTI welcome packet found on the school’s home page.

Parents/guardians for new and returning students must complete the mandatory online forms in the Skyward portal as soon as possible. For safety reasons, students are not permitted to participate in any lab activities until these forms are completed.
