North Catasauqua Police Department is introducing a new neighborhood watch program to assist in crime prevention.

The first meeting will be held 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at North Catasauqua Borough Hall, 1066 Fourth St., and is open to all interested residents.

Officer Brian Douglas, the crime prevention liaison running the program, will discuss matters that are brought to his attention, as well as give information to the community.
