Police performed a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

One vehicle was involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident at Front and Race streets.

A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of School Street.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Church Street.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

AUG. 10

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Second and Eugene streets.

In the 300 block of Second Street, a vehicle stop was performed for a traffic violation. A written warning was issued.

An animal complaint at East Wood and St. John streets was investigated.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of Walnut Street.

AUG. 11

Traffic violations occurred at Howertown Road and Walnut Street, with the driver cited; at North 10th and Race streets, with a verbal warning issued; in the 400 block of Pine Street, with a citation issued; and at South 15th and Race streets, with a verbal warning issued.

AUG. 12

An animal complaint at 301 Mulberry St. was addressed.

Calls involving a mental health case and a disturbance in the 100 block of Church Street were investigated.

An alarm sounded in the unit block of Front Street.

AUG. 13

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a security check was conducted.

In the unit block of Stonewood Place, a civil matter was investigated.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a traffic stop at Third and Liberty streets.

A reckless driver at Canal and Union streets was reported to the department.

AUG. 14

Domestic disturbances took place in the 100 block of South Front Street, involving a verbal argument, and in the unit block of Front Street.

A traffic violation at North Dauphin and North Irving streets, Hanover Township, occurred. The driver was cited.

An unwanted person in the 100 block of South Front Street was reported.

Welfare checks occurred in the 100 block of South Front Street and in the 800 block of Church Street.

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.

Officers responded to a neighbor dispute in the 700 block of Front Street.

In the 300 block of Peach Street, an animal complaint occurred.

A suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Church Street was reported.

AUG. 15

Erik Warren, 46, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault and harassment during a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Prospect Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Race Street.

Animal complaints were investigated, one for a lost dog in the 300 block of Mulberry Street, which was returned to its owner, and a dog found in the 300 block of Edward Lane.

In the 100 block of Lehigh Street, a verbal warning was issued.

At Second and Pine streets, a reportable motor vehicle accident had police at the scene.

AUG. 16

Police conducted a welfare check at Front and Race streets.

A suspicious person in the 800 block of Mulberry Street was reported.

Michael Marx, 34, of Catasauqua, was arrested for resisting arrest or other law enforcement, simple possession and drug paraphernalia at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St.

In the 200 block of Poplar Street, a civil matter occurred.

AUG. 17

Officers warned a resident in the 400 block of Race Street for a violation of a burning ordinance.

Police conducted welfare checks in the 100 block of Front Street and the 500 block of Front Street.

Police addressed a parking complaint in the 100 block of South Front Street.

AUG. 18

A juvenile was found in the 800 block of Walnut Street.

A vehicle stop for a traffic violation was conducted at North 14th and Bridge streets.

Police conducted welfare checks at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., once for a disorderly female and another involving a warrant, and in the 500 block of Second Street.

A vehicle was ticketed for a parking violation in the 100 block of Railroad Street.
