Annabelle A. Buss

Annabelle A. (Nester) Buss, 91, formerly of Emmaus, died peacefully Aug. 19, 2022, in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Curtis J. Buss. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel (Fegley) Nester.

She worked in customer service for Emmaus Telephone Company, Verizon and Day-Timer for many years, retiring in 1993.

She was a member of Upper Milford Mennonite Church.

She is survived by a son, Brian C. and his wife, Maria, of State College; daughters, Karen M. wife of the late Ed Brown, of Chambersburg and Barbara B. and her husband, Richard DeTemple, of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Melanie, Meredith, Eddie and Andy; a great-grandson Bennett; a sister, Mae Wentz-Nicholas wife of Ken, of Emmaus; many nieces and nephews; many longtime friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Linwood, Melvin, Wilmer, Norman, E. Vernon, Raymond, Donald and Kermit Nester; sisters, Marian Frankenfield, Alma Miller, Merle Lorish and Lorraine Nester.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
