Anita J. Raab, 90, of Macungie, died peacefully Aug. 22, 2022, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Richard Raab for 27 years. Born in Asbury Park, N.J., she was a Jersey Shore native and a longtime resident of the Lehigh Valley.

She attended Asbury Park High School. She enjoyed a successful career for many years as a corporate incentive travel planner, working with GTA Travel in Allentown.

She was a parishioner at St. Thomas More Church, Allentown and a member of Lehigh Country Club.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to dance, travel and play golf. She was most proud of her three holes in one at Lehigh.

She is survived by her husband; son, James Mitchell and his daughters, Brenna, Shelley and Christina; son, Stephen Mitchell and his wife, Liz and their son, Jack; daughter, Katie and her husband, Tommy Saieed; stepchildren, Paul and his wife, Sue; Andrew and his wife, Jennifer; Laura and her husband, Chris Cox and their children, Bridget and Brady. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Mitchell, his son, Alex and her sisters, Constance Musto and Gloria Boyle.
