Ronald E. Markulics, 81, of Allentown, died Aug. 19, 2022, at ProMedica, ManorCare Health Services, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Ida Elaine (Jenkins) Markulics.

Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Frank Markulics and the late Dora (Hescox) Markulics.

He was a Hospitalman E-3 in the U.S. Navy from 1960 until 1964.

He was a machine operator for over 30 years, last employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, until he retired in 1992.

He is survived by two sons, Craig A. and wife Connie of Northampton and Randall S. of Allentown; a brother, Michael and wife Cheryl of Gallatin, Tenn.; two sisters, Jean Farkas of Slatington and Jacqueline and her husband Joseph Kiss of Walnutport; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Erin.

He was predeceased by a brother, Rodney; and a sister, Cheryl Compton.

Graveside services and committal will be held 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown.
