Luther M. Hicks, 92, of Northampton, died Aug. 18, 2022, at Sacred Heart Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Anna C. Hicks.

Born in Cortland, N.Y., he was a son of the late Leonard and Eve (Parker) Hicks.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a warranty analyst for Mack/Broadway Trucks for 25 years.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Northampton.

He is survived by a son, Michael L. and wife Roberta of New Hope, Minn.; a son-in-law, Gary Hall; four grandchildren, Michael W. Hicks and wife Jess, John M. Hicks, Michael Hall and wife Denise and Andrea Hall and husband Nathan Venditta; and three great-grandchildren, Luca Hall, Logan Venditta and Mack Hicks.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Robin A. Hall.
