Kathleen Goretski, 92, formerly of Reading, died peacefully Aug. 19, 2022, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus.
She was the wife of the late Rudolph Goretski.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James and Pauline (Stefanski) Peters.
She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She enjoyed gardening, polka dancing with her husband, country and senior line dancing, puzzles, reading, and sewing was a special interest.
She especially looked forward to visits from her children, grandchildren and friends.
Her survivors include two daughters and four grandsons: Rosanne Pugh (Dale) of Slatington and grandsons Randolph Pugh of Slatington, and Jeffrey Pugh (Jessica) of Lehighton, and daughter, Joanne Goretski, of Lowell, Mass. and grandsons Matthew and Jonathan Wolf.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert, and sister-in-law Ada Peters, and niece, Doris Bowers.
Her memorial Mass and Celebration of Life plans will be announced at a later date.
