Faith I. Gensler, 98, of Allentown, died Aug. 18, 2022, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital, Reading.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Anna P. (Steigerwalt) Gensler.

The oldest and longest member of member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, she taught Sunday School for 50 years.

She sang with the choir and volunteered in the church library, was a deacon and elder, and was the first youth director of the church.

Before retiring, she worked in medical records of St. Luke’s Hospital and previously was a technical librarian at New Jersey Zinc.

Her survivors include a nephew David W. of N. Canton, Ohio; and niece, Elizabeth A., wife of Hector Torres of Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

She was predeceased by a sister, Alice DeLong.
