Patrols to increase near Macungie Aug. 26 to 28

Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Fogelsville will increase patrols in the Macungie area Aug. 26 through Aug. 28.

The Wheels of Time annual Road and Custom Jamboree will take place Aug. 26 to 28 at Macungie Memorial Park, 50 N. Poplar St.

The annual event attracts car enthusiasts from around the region and generates large crowds who enjoy the numerous events scheduled for the weekend.

Those planning on attending and participating are encouraged to enjoy weekend activities.

Troopers are reminding those attending and participating to remember the rules of the road.

Vehicles operating around the event are reminded to operate their vehicle in a safe manner and all vehicles must adhere to the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.
