The start of the 2022-23 school year is just about upon us. The first day of school is Aug. 29.

I hope all Catasauqua High School students had an enjoyable and relaxing summer and are now ready to begin a successful academic year.

The first day of classes for all CHS students attending Lehigh Career & Technical Institute is Aug. 29.

The LCTI welcome packet is now available and can be found on LCTI’s website, lcti.org. New and returning students, as well as their parents/guardians, should review the packet now to get ready for the school year. There is a lot of important information in the packet that students and parents/guardians need to start classes at LCTI.

Parents/guardians for new and returning students must complete the mandatory online forms in the Skyward portal by Aug. 29. For safety reasons, students are not permitted to participate in any lab activities if these forms are not completed.

Schools in the CASD will be closed Sept. 2-5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

All classes will resume Sept. 6.
