Registration for the 22nd annual Frank Yelinko Memorial Fund Golf Tournament is underway. The tournament will be held Sept. 10 at The Club at Twin Lakes, 3625 Shankweiler Road, Allentown. Please arrive by 8:15 a.m. for a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration is limited to the first 32 paid foursomes. This fund provides scholarships to Salisbury High School graduates. Not a golfer? By now, your student should have received their teacher assignment and bus information. Are they excited? Are you excited? Just a reminder, orientation for kindergarten, fifth and ninth grades only is Aug. 29. All students return Aug. 30.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a Rib Rally Fundraiser. Order your ribs from Texas Roadhouse in Trexlertown by 10 a.m. Aug. 26 and pick them up 3:30-8 p.m. Aug. 30 or 31. The booster club will receive 30% of the order and you pay when you pick up.

Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open Aug. 25 and 27. The Devonshire site will be open Aug. 29, Sept. 1 and 3. For a complete listing of acceptable items, visit the township website under the heading “Refuse and Recycling.” Franko Farm drop-off will be closed Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
